Iraqi 6 Color Armor

Picked this armor up recently from Ebay. It is missing one of the side fasteners, but didn't have an example like this in my collection.

Seems to be similar to other examples of Iraqi Police armor I have seen in the past, but was told this is Iraqi Army or Iraqi Civil Defense Corps.

Front pocket looks to have been modified by cutting off the pocket flap and making a cut on the pocket.

The armor inside is very light weight and I highly doubt it has much ballistic stopping capability.

The inside writing is a name and part of it says "Ahmed".

Interesting. Is that standard weight ripstop cloth? That's not something I'd expect to hold up well over time.

It is standard rip stop fabric and the quality is complete rubbish. One of the side fasteners is missing and the trim is coming unstitched.
