Re: Kopaska
So you are the one that outbid me on this set! Congrats - it is a great set. Interesting how they put the patch of cloth with the frogs on each chest pocket - looks like they randomly appear on other parts of the jacket, but I don't see them on the trousers.

Re: Kopaska
Hmmm....So you know what it cost...
Thanks...I actually ran into it a few hours before it ended ; I could not believe one of these was available..
I noticed that my trouser have no logos, but the logo is clearly visible on the trousers in the first photo of post #3 ( guy on right, right of rifle sling ).
Thanks JD, I know this is in your territory..
It's going to be alot of fun finding proper patching..

Re: Kopaska
Fantastic set.
Question -> how can you tell if a uniform is Indonesian Special Forces?
Answer -> there is more velcro than there is camouflage

Re: Kopaska
And this, kids, is why most militaries state that you can only have 2-3 award patches displayed on your uniform no matter how bad-assed you are. So ends the lesson.

Re: Kopaska
Hi..
Welcome..
The patches came from Indonesia. These types are sown to order, not picked up in a store and are nearly impossible to find unless you have a contact there..

Re: Kopaska
I have information about KOPASKA camouflage that I think it's valuable to collectors.
As for the 2nd print, an early one is made by PT. Inti Mustika Karyatama.
From what I heard, KOPASKA has given complete control of the procurement process, and that's why the early one is very high quality.
It has these label, and the "frog with trident" print is exactly pictured as follows:
As for the latter one, camouflage where controlled under Indonesian Navy procurement team.
That's why we can see the "usual" contract label (like the Army one, not by IMK), and the frog print is different.
I heard many complaints about the quality and fabric being too hot for the wearer.
(below pictures is not mine, sourced from internet)

Yes, I can confirm second type does not have the usual contract label.

Yes! Yours is early one. It’s very rare even in Indonesia because not sold publicly

Hi, i believe your set has a large white label (similar to Mitra Mustika Karyatama), but no contractor stated.
Just a white label stating: kopaska, battle dress uniform. Is it correct Sir?
If so, i got a information from a service member, its procured from Sritex.
