The DI on your jacket are the 307 th engineers but the parachute oval was 503 airborne infantry , the medal ribbon above left pocket is
the army service ribbon on the right pocket are army Presidential unit citation with oak leave cluster denotes more than one award also there is a army meritorious unit commendation, the lanyard is French WW2 unit award as for date of the jacket it looks very modern, if you go into the pocket you have in picture 7 there is a label will have a DSA or DLA or similar letters followed by numbers eg DSA105-68C-0353 the 68C is the contract year I am sure other's will add more info to this.

96 dated. Wings are normal, even for an engineer. 307th Eng. Bn. uses the oval shown. The French fourragere is a unit award and is only worn while part of the unit. I wore the same one while in the BRO. This would be early OIF. It needs rank. If he had been overseas or re-enlisted, there would be bars on the right sleeve and hash marks on the left. As it is badged, He has just left AIT, received his unit awards, and hasn't gone anywhere yet. He would at least have his E2 Private stripes by this point.
