    A friend picked this up at the local flea market.  Grandson had cleaned out grandfather's things - and very sadly tossed away the uniform and other items.

    This is the first of these I've had, and I really don't know much about them.  Blade has rust, though its still relatively sharp.

    Please educate me on this.  Should I clean it - if so how?  Should I just leave it as it is, etc

    NICE PIECE, I WOULD LEAVE IT AS IT IS, IT HAS NATURAL PATINA & THERE ARE MANY GOOD ONE'S IN EXISTANCE AS THERE WERE THOUSANDS BROUGHT BACK.
