Here are some more interesting bits of info...

The initial production uniforms wz124 "US" style were a lighter "dustier" pattern than the later more yellow standard issue wz124P and PI uniforms. Check out the patterns here:

Note too, that rank slides were produced in the two variations for corresponding uniforms as well as hats. Here are rank slides in the two patterns with comparison shots:

Hats were made in both patterns also, here is the later yellow variation hat (I haven't got around to taking a pic of the light variation hat yet):

    Some other interesting items:
    Shorts:

    Coverall:

Lastly, a unique set of uniforms were manufactured for the Polish Police deployment to Afghanistan in the later yellow variation pattern. These had features of both the "US" type uniform as well as the Polish multicam uniform. Here are some examples and pics of the Police deployment in Afghanistan:

I know there are a whole set of other items in the desert pattern including a backpack and body armour vest.

I haven't seen a set but I wonder if a wz128 Goretex set was ever produced in the desert pattern?

    Hi Chris,

Yes, official issue - not all official items always have a MON stamp - eg the desert hats, all Polish Multicam uniforms etc, sometimes confusing...

I can't tell though if they are standard Army issue or specifically for the Police contingent.

    Regards,
    Martin.
