Ukrainian "Fort" and Israeli "IMI" companies declared their plans to create a joint venture for the production of "TAR-21" of various modifications for operation in the Ukrainian militarized divisions. Today "TAR-21" and its modifications are released by the Ukrainian "Fort" under its own name "Fort - 221". Some components are supplied by the Israeli IMI. As far as we know, the weapons produced by the Vinnitsa "Fort" were practically not purchased by Ukrainian armed units.

It makes no sense to compare the TAR-21 and the Fort-221, since these are the same automatic weapons, no specific changes in the design and construction of the machine gun are known.

MM-14 camouflage clothing, equipment and weapons (excluding helmet, shoes and optics) are Ukrainian-made.

The assault rifle "Fort-221" caliber 5.56x45 and 5.45x39 mm - a reliable and effective weapon designed to defeat the enemy at a distance of 500 meters. The rifle is arranged according to the bullpup scheme, which made it possible to significantly reduce the dimensions of the weapon, without reducing the length of the barrel. In turn, thanks to a case made of impact-resistant plastic, it was possible to significantly reduce weight.
