Re: New Italian Navy uniform
Very nice! Anybody know what the status of the uniform is at the moment? Limited to COMSUBIN or is it navy wide?

Re: New Italian Navy uniform
Looks like it's limited to COMSUBIN at this time.
Not much info available yet. The uniform was authorized late February 2020 and is a Vegetato type printed in blue colors.

Re: New Italian Navy uniform
IMHO cool, but absolutely not Italian pattern style finish... Quite regular and commonly used colors. On the other side, finally Navy will stop using Army pattern
P. S. What sometimes confusing me a little bit: if all the people on these pics are already FS operators (BTW all, except of one, still don't have GOS patch & brevetto attached) - why are their faces are public available? However we can see at least 2 COMSUBIN berets. Strange.

Re: New Italian Navy uniform
I dont understand the trend of having blue uniforms issued to people who work in and around water.
This ridiculous practice was pioneered by the USN and lots of other nations soon followed.
Well, NWU I "blueberries " are now defunct/obsolete in the USN but the trend continues..

Palombari of COMSUBIN are trained deep water divers, not commandos as a rule, but am certain more than one Incursore has taken Palombari training.

Totally agree. Continues, including Ukraine.

You're right, I forgot about non-special part of Raggruppamento Subacquei.
