I got this off of a guy from Florida who was in Special Operations community and had some incredible contacts around the world. He had some of the best uniforms, patches, and headgear I have ever seen. Never seen another one like this for sale before either. For $20....I figured I couldn't go wrong!CollectinSteve wrote:Wow! IMO, it's one of the best uniforms we got in Italy. They're still using for parades and (maybe) for training.
It's strong, dries fast and very comfortable. I still have some in my home and they're great for outdoor too.

This is a really nice uniform and indeed very comfortable. Trousers are especially lightweight and super comfortable.
Made by Consorzio Liguria contract date of 1999. ( the word Taglia literally means cut , but it is understood to also mean size ). The size is actually given 3 different ways : 54 , 4 , and L . European, Italian ans US .
It did come with some other goodies including the San Marco flag..

Hello G,
There seems to be 2 slightly different versions of the trousers..
One uses characteristic Euro zippers at leg bottom, the other ( like mine ) use pull strings.
Sean, please do post the cap when you can... I believe I may have a MM cap, but it is an olive color, not the color of this uniform.
BTW, this uniform is colloquially referred to as " Verdone " ( big green/ very green ).....

Found another version of the trousers. Leg zippers now are a more modern plastic and metal type as opposed to all aluminium. Velcro is used instead of buttons to secure the cargo and rear pockets.
Tags are identical to the tags in my other trousers.
