Very Nice.Love the softshell.
Interesting that on a lot of the trials UBACS there appears to be pen pockets on the lower sleeves similar to the US ACU uniforms/combat shirt. I wonder why they decided to ditch such a useful feature in the final design

So frustrating that someone removed the label!
It looks like a gov contractor was experimenting with an adjustable back. My memory might be playing tricks on me but I vaguely recall hearing that there were rumours that the MoD were looking to improve the rucksack in this way. A very interesting idea but I'm now thinking the end result would have been over expensive for the end result.
Was there a waist belt for it? It looks like a waistbelt was intended because of the two LadderLock buckles at the hips.
Did it come with the side pouches attached? If so, are there ordnance labels on those?
It looks like the label was WHITE. I can't help wondering if it was a revised design aimed at the Netherlands military. The Chelsea Quilt Company (CQC Ltd) certainly made versions of PLCE in Danish M84(?) camouflage Cordura. The Netherlands' military used DPM and the labels I've seen on their DPM kit is white. I believe that Berghaus won the contract and supplied Cyclops 2 Vulcans.

Looking for the above link, I encountered this web page:
https://thailand-travelbase.com/2018/09/28/a-guide-to-dutch-army-backpacks-bergans/
The Netherlands military have certainly been very proactive on trying to get good rucksacks for their personnel.
I'm researching Brit mil issue, Berghaus and Bergans (Of Norway) rucksacks/development - and have accumulated an absurd number of rucksacks but I've still far to go. I'm sure it's a one-off but might you be able to procure another rucksack like that one?
