    Hello,
    please do you have any information on this Italian a. bag?
    Is it from WW2 or from the postWW2 period?
    Was it carried as a haversack or as a backpack? The straps for carrying are narrow and unusual situated.
    Any period photo of the bag in service will help me.

    It is postwar, but I am not sure exactly when they were used, or if any particular troops used them. The Italians seem to have issued a wide range of different packs from the 1950s-1980s. I have been meaning to post a few different types myself to try to learn more about them.
