Last year I had the chance to handle most of the stuff that's part of the Raider gear made by Marom Dolphin for Profile Equipment, though sadly I don't have anything of it anymore
because 1 of the middlemen it came through to my actual trusted seller wasn't entirely honest about how he got it, so the best course of action was to return to seller and sort it out the right way.
But not before I took a load of detailed pictures!!!
So watch out as this will be quite picture-heavy.
First there's the platecarrier, it has removable softarmor in the sides and has an attachment to hook it up to Marom Dolphin's weight bearing system on the belt (which I didn't have).
The assault pack comes with 4 strap parts to attach it to the vest directly and also regular shoulderstraps, and it has a built in roll-out pocket to hold a helmet on it's back.
For some reasn the MOLLE spacing on the back of the adminpouch has been made wrong, so it's hard to attach to anything, as it will either be stretched or squished.
The 40mm pouches have removable/adjustable flaps.
The drop down utilitypouch has softarmor inside, but more on that later.
The weapon catch sling has a fidlock, a sliding magnetic catch that opens by sliding it, and closes once the ends come close again.
Then there's the chestrig, for some reason the chestflap is really small and can't hold much in terms of pouches.
It has a platepocket at it's back and a port at the bottom to attach the dropdown pouch with softarmor.
A number of pouches again, some the same as above, but in more detail.
Here's a view of the magazinepouch which has velcro inside to stow the flap away, and detail of the flap of the 40mm pouch.
For the people that have knowledge of the modern NFP camo gear from the VOSS equipment there might be some recognizable parts that
are being issued in NFP camo now with just a few changes from how this Raider gear looks, like the 40mm pouches, assault pack and the narrow
utilitypouches without labels.
There's still more parts I never had, so here's a list of what I know of:
Battlebelt (which has 2 rings at the back to attach both the vest and a backpack for weight distribution).
Backpack adapter to attach to a regular MOLLE battlebelt.
Flipdown command pouch.
Large utilitypouch.
That's about it for this gear. It pretty much never appeared for sale afterwards and very rarely appears in photos of it being used, but I'm hopeful I will
find anything of this again in the future when these vests might be replaced by whatever new comes out.
