Hi can any one tell me what units these 2 unit tags represent
The one on the right is of the earlier canvass type and the one one on the left is of the pvc type

Howdy Graham,
The two tags you have are unit identification and are worn on the left shoulder hanging from the epaulet.
The one on the left is the old insignia for the Paratroop School; it was changed around twenty years ago to reflect it's involvement with training other units, I believe.
The one on the right is the Givati Brigade; an infantry brigade which specializes in practicing seaborne landings; something Israel doesn't do all that often but keeps it active....just in case!
