I got this rig off Ebay awhile ago for $12. You could see that H-harness's hooks were cut-off and replaced with sewn on loops to allow pistol belt with padding to slip through for extra comfortable. He used "paracords" (not sure proper term for it) to tie pouches to H-harness loops for stabilize with weight. This has british pouch which probably had been used as general pouch. It came with british sniper veil. It is common to see SF operators wearing it as scarf.
The current proud owner is CamoDeafie. I sold it to him awhile part of trade.
The seller said that SF guy used this in Bosnia. It didn't get good comments at USMF because everybody said it's just a "good" story. Now, I checked the ebay seller's items. He is not military collector and appeared to be not well-knowledge in military items. He has his own walk-in ebay store where people can drop off stuff for him to sell. Now, why would he make up the story? If he is military collector and made up story, he might would expect it to go for more than $50. Everybody at USMF said that this equipment is too old for Bosnia era. But however, they didn't realize that it is common for Special Op guys to use older equipment and mix up and modified as they like it.
Here's several examples.
