As you can see, it is very well-used. one of straps for shoulder pads were torn. Awhile ago I found this at surplus store. When I made purchase, the guy at store said he just got it in from Iraq.

What do you guys think "RAS" stand for?

I only have one. Got it about a year ago from the local surplus store. No additional covers or anything, but judging by the dirt, (not to mention the rocks and grit I've recovered from the pockets) I think it's a safe bet to say this was used in the Sandbox. As to which time, I'm not sure. lol!
