Ok, I'm not a navy guy but I liked the look of this jacket, particularly the ribbons, so I picked this one up. I'm assuming the top gold badge is a submarine badge but is the little one below the ribbons a sub combat badge similar to the aircrew combat badge?
The tag on the inside pocket has the date 7-13-55. I don't know if this is put together, a fantasy jacket, or a family member putting all of granddad's "stuff" on it, or if its all original but the price was right. Oh, it also came with a hat.
