One of my favorite uniforms of all time!
As a quick FYI, the Spanish Navy uses the same exact uniform but without the stencil on the chest. This is similar to how US Marines uniforms were usually differentiated up until MARPAT.

that is indeed interesting, as I did not know that....did the Navy use any sort of patches on their uniforms?
