    Took this @ the War Museum in London..I was amazed to see this idea used back then..

    Also refered to a Tanker holster .
    IWM has some things you dont see elswhere like a Dennison Smock that has a wool liner and a built in hood !!!!!
    Soldier converted in 44 for winter use .
