    Very nice berets, Steven!

I almost bought one similar to the second one you posted at the gun show two weeks ago... allegedly pulled from a dead Soviet officer in Afghanistan. But it wasn't in the best condition and they guy wanted $100 for it. Was it a bad choice to turn it down?

Are you sure they let headless women into the VDV? scratch

great looking berets, I like seeing the progression there. Whats the insignia on the side of the last one?

WOW...a $100...I got mine for like $10-15....each over the years...but $100 seems way too high...at least to me...if I see some cheaper, I will let you know... Very Happy I do know Soviet stuff is alot higher than it was but $100 still seems astronomical to me..

Yeah that's what I thought too...I've seen him at several shows with the same beret for the same price, so I think other collectors seem to think like you and I do. lol!

Was big into soviet afghan war stuff at one time, ca 1986 I had a finnish friend married to a soviet doctor, he came to visit and brought a huge bergen pack full of soviet camo klmk, vdv berest, and the really scarce one piece overall I later sold to Borsarello and appeared in his camo book. Back in the 80s the klmks routinely were priced $600-800 and berets about $150. My first khaki afghan war patterned uniform I bought from George Peterson about 1986 and paid $400 for it!!
