Type 03 Plateau "Tibet Flecktarn" Camo Uniform

I have never seen one of these available for sale, but I certainly have been watching for one!

Became extinct, very....very few sets had been leaked out. The experimental ones probably were destroyed in the sudden. I am trying very hard to get ones- likes impossible mission!

I have had this set directly from a Chinese guy and the following on ebay
The 2 set are identical, so I don't know if they are good or fake

Wow! Do you have any more pics. That looks like original German flecktarn and not the commercial copy with the 3 reversed screens that is all over eBay!

This pic came from PLA pictorial magazine around 1999. This was official picture took by PLA. The camoflage uniforms only used in Northeast China border area. This camoflage tended to have greenish colors adapting the region landscape camoflage. I think not possible being leaked to sell in ebay. Very few and few indeed.

Gilles, that would be the first 'real' PLA Type 03 I've seen with the black/yellow scroll to the shoulder and the big Chinese flag. Is there a 'Peopeles' typo/spelling mistake on the scroll of your jacket, please?

But yes, your two sets look identical Gilles, and both look genuine to me.

I really meant to get back to you Gilles after your post of the yellow/black 'scroll', because sorry, it is obviously a repro one.
But the two sets look so identical, and I've had a repro set which looked completely unlike either, with different pockets, storm flap, and placement of the hoops on right arm. Ihave never seen any 'real' ones with scroll or flag yet.

And Sicong, nice to see you back on the forum! And love that you still hate the fakes

SPLAV are commercial manufacturers of everything but the Russian military do use SPLAV products too.

Ditto, I was already eyeing up a t-shirt on ebay I'm a flecktarnaholic and this pattern is great!
