AIRCREW SHIRT USED IN NAM OR NOT?

Hello!
I`ve got a question- I found this jacket-Can anyone tell Me when it was used?I always thougth that there was one model during the vientam war- the one with the flaps on the pockets- thsi one is completely different the pockets are closed with zippers.
Thanks for any info on this one-when it was used etc.

Contract number form 1975 so I guess not.

yeah I know but i wonder not about that specific shirt but the pattern I have the normal one with the buttoned pockets with both 69 and 73/74 contract

The 2 piece with button pockets are the ones used in Nam.. Those were more predominant in the 80's. I've had several of the button pockets with theatre made insignia over the years. Never had one with the zippers with anything Namwise on them. These witht he zipper came out to late for even the embassy guys to have. If you find one in a herringbone weave, It's made from the USN flight suit of the time, so it would be OK, but not that particular one.

great so everything is clear,many thanks for the info,I have one of the button pockets with localy made patches of 1st Aviation bde and aircrew wings, but I think it's a later put together nevertheless the patches are great
