    I was looking at some of my El Sal patches today. I saw a patch that had a hatchet in the middle and said "Hacha". I remembered the bat with skull patch Lopez311 posted. I am wondering if that patch may not have some sort of Special Forces or Counter-Insurgencey affilition? The sniper rifle at the top reminds me of the counter-terror patches I've seen for Panama and other places down south. Just a thought.

    The EOD patch I believe is 2nd Bn 8th IA Div., A number of different patches for this part of 8th IA exist. The motto at top is tribute to SALADIN (western spelling) who was a great leader and fought against the crusaders if memory serves.
