I have two berets that I need identification for please. I have no pictures of them currently.
The first one is green, and has a black lining in it with gold writing. It says "Para De Luxe - Impermeable" and has a set of jump wings, almost remind me of Vietnamese wings. It has two tags, one just says "Size M", and the other says the following:
P.R.T. ULTRABASQUE
100% WOOL
MADE IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
RN 58584
It has no cardboard insert on the front.
The next one is a maroon beret, almost like what 82nd Soldiers wear. It is MFG'd by Denmarks Military , and has a heavy lining that crunches when you crush it. It also has a black tag in the middle for a soldier to write thier info in it (Name / Rank / Serial #). But theres a few odd things about it:
It has a leather strap going from the bottom of the cardboard insert that serves as the front of the beret to the top of the peice, inside the beret.
It has two vent holes on the right side.
Any ideas guys? Sorry for no pics. Thanks.
Andrew
