Good safety and soft skin - for such age. As she could fall into Uzbekistan - a riddle.

I would bet this is leftover stock from when the US gave the Soviet Union Lend-Lease aid during WW2. Basically, the US donated TONS of US equipment to the USSR to help supplement their fighting supplies. Probably was stored in an armory and found it's way to the collector market after the fall of the Soviet Union.

    Thank you all for answers!
I am aware of supply Union Lend-Lease. In this holster impossible to place USSR gun. Signifies the holster was delivered with gun Colt? I did not see and did not hear to USA delivered the guns for USSR. But before war in 30-h year USSR bought the weapon from the other countries. The Weapon could also remain since period of the civil war 20-h years? Then was other holster?

During the Lend-Lease agreement, the US supplied the Soviets with .45 Automatics (1911's), Thompson sub-machine guns, Reisings, and TONS of ammo. Definitely makes sense for it to be a Lend-Lease holster meant for a Lend-Lease .45 Auto.
