Unidentified Tan 8 Point Caps - What Unit? (US Military)

Hey,
I picked these up yesterday and they are both used and named to two different soldiers with the same last name. I'm thinking a husband and wife team because one is an X-Small and the other is a Medium. I think they're commercial but they have been used...but the question is by who??? Navy Corpsman? Marine or Naval Aviators? There are some pinholes in the front of one hat which are very far apart horizontally. It appears that the pinholes may have been made by a Colonels rank insignia. Any help is appreciated.

I would say navy as the navy uniform is tan that or maybe its a crewman hat to match the tan coveralls
