Re: Cuban lizard
Interesting in that these are done in the old Rhodesian fatigues cut - even the cap looks like the old Rhodesian flap cap. Could these be an export camo set for a neighbouring country?

Re: Cuban lizard
Copy ?
The size of the shirt is S
So I don't know at what corresponding the letter on the label
The name of the copy of the Cuban lizard for the South African RECCE is copy L
But it is not a South African build
It is not an actual Cuban shirt, the cut of the garment is different
For the pattern, it look like Cuban but I have not the entire cupon for the Cuban pattern
So, I don't know

Re: Cuban lizard
Thanks for posting your information Gilles!
Here is a picture of Yugoslav/Serbian Purple Lizard on the left, mystery shirt on the right:
You can see that the two patterns are nearly identical, but not exact.
I have not compared the mystery shirt against Croat Gray Lizard or Yugo/Serb Green Lizard.

Re: Cuban lizard
here some cuban pics...
I think the lizard that i sent to Joel is a original cuban shirt, i got it from steve a while ago, so he can probably shed some light to it's origin.
My feeling is that those are much more recent lizard uniforms that are no longer manufactured in Cuba, but rather in South Korea, the colors, cut and fabric seem very consistent with other cuban pictures I've seeing.
As for the pics posted by Gilles and Steve, im not sure colors look different from the usual Cuban Grey lizard...

Re: Cuban lizard
Hmmm.... well, maybe it is a newer form of Cuban? I've personally never doubted that it is military issue of some sort, but Gilles is correct it doesn't match the older (let's call it "traditional") lizard. But we know poor nations like Cuba rarely have consistency with their uniforms.
From what Gilles and I have been able to find out these shirts are from South Korea and have been for sale by a couple of sellers in Thailand that carry large amounts of South Korean surplus (both genuine and commercial).
This picture of Danilo's is particularly interesting:
Look at the guy on the far right. The features of his shirt, as well as the camouflage printing, appear consistent with the mystery shirt. Look at the sleeve cuff adjustments and how they button "forward" instead on the inside of the arm instead of "backwards" on the outside of the arm. This is an unusual configuration in general, yet it is the same for both the guy in the picture and the mystery shirt.
Hmmm

Re: Cuban lizard
Good points steve, also the pocket flap has the same "cropped" edge...
I almost 100% the uniform is either issued to cuba or angola...

Re: Cuban lizard
Oh, and look at the guy with the mustache. His left sleeve appears to show the same cuff tab adjustment.
The chest pockets for these guys appear to edge billowed type instead of the center billowed like the early style we know is Cuban.

Re: Cuban lizard
Hello
http://camopedia.org/index.php?title=Angola&oldid=3927
The Lizard Cuban in the left is the same than my first Cuban lizard set: https://iacmc.forumotion.com/t3573-lizard-pattern
The 2 others are the same than my 2 shirts with the 2 variants colors as mine
About the picture of Danilo the guy in the fars right have the same pattern than my fist Cuban lizard set, not the pattern of the 2 jackets
About the construct of the garment, the difference between the Cuban lizard and this 2 jackets are the form of strengthening on the elbow and the back who is in 2 part on the Cuban lizard and one part on the 2 jackets
About this picture: https://i.servimg.com/u/f68/15/98/33/17/20109810.jpg
Maybe it is same shirt as this 2, the back is in one part, for the camouflage, I don't know, the picture is too small
So certainly the shirt with the label is an Angola pattern
