    Hi Guys.

Here is my DPM PLCE webbing belt kit.

This Kit has been modified, by it's former squaddie owner with one handed opening clips which he found to be superior to velcro or the usual type of fastening clips. It served him well apparently,so I was happy to take it off his hand's for a fair price.

    It consists of......

2 x Magazine Pouches (total 12 x 5.56mm A2 magazines or combination of mags/grenades/link) with one handed opening clips.
3 x Waterbottle Pouches with one handed opening clips and extra loops at the rear for securing against rattle.
    1 x Bayonet Frog ( No bayonet which is a Bummer !)
1 x SF Yoke which has wider shoulder pads that the PLCE type making it more comfortable and less prone to slippage.
1 x PLCE belt, with replacement quick release buckle.
1 x Utility Strap to secure pouches together from rattle.

All credit to my Daughter for modelling (I told you, you'd be famous did'nt I Very Happy )Modified Para-PLCE Belt kit...a Dsc02068

    Very nice PLCE kit, Gary!

The yoke shoulder straps on your set look different from my PLCE set. Mine are the same width throughout, and a bit narrower. Is there more than one PLCE variant out? I have honestly lost track, especially since UK Armed Forces have begun using a platform comparable to MOLLE gear -- it's all but done away with the need for webbing and beltkit...

    Hi Ben.

The yokes on this PLCE,are the Para/SF version, wider shoulder straps to spread the load and make it more comfy for a heavy load ( Ammo etc. ) I'm not so sure if these are readily available,as I've only seen them on-line,my surplus store only seems to stock the standard yokes, and the side pouch/Bergan type of yoke.
I'm led to believe the squaddie I got this kit off, swore by the set up ,and as he said "it served me well".. Wink

Ok -- so there is an additional variant. I knew there was a special setup that the Paras run with, but didn't know it included a different yoke system. Thanks for the info!
