    Found my old K-Pot from my active duty days. Got this one issued to me in Germany when I got back from OIF 1 (they gave me one in Iraq and another when I got back, go figure) and I wore this till I got issued the ACH prior to my second deployment about 3 years later.

    Yes, that rank is sharpie'd on there. The pin on rank fell off and went MIA during an FTX, the sharpie was a field expedient fix. I just never got around to having 'real' rank put back on.

    The black liner is a TPL from a flight helmet. Made the K-Pot infinitely more comfortable, especially for dog-n-pony shows.

    That's a really nice K-Pot swag, and the liner is an unusual modification, great idea.

    I have a K-Pot in my collection that was issued in Germany too,love these lids ...classic design Wink
