    Hi All,

Just picked up this M-826 Helmet in good used conditions in of all places Jakarta.... cost me $35, so while I normally don't collect helmets, I though this was a bit of a bargain. The guy had 2 of them, both in similar condition.

    Very cool lid Ben.

Being the Helmet freak I am ,I know that Schuberth sold initially 3000 lids to Indonesia. Sample lids would have had the marking "Approved and Accepted" from the Ministry of Defence. You find it on the helmets rear side and inside the shell.

    A suberb example....love it

Here is an example of the DPM,cover worn on Indonesian Lids Wink

    Thanks for the info Gary.
That'd explain the rear paint... see below:

Both helmets I saw had it. Nothing on the inside though. You've done well with a DPM cover. They are difficult enough to find for the standard Indonesian produced helmets as I know from experience having recently tried to find one.
