    I have seen pics of these vests being handed out to Iraqi forces early on during the war , almost all I have seen were plain desert color , I believe these were a quick solution for the newly formed Iraqi Army ,until better gear could be issued .

    If anyone has more concrete info , please let me know !!

    Thanks , I have found , the exact same vest I have in real early photos om Militaryphotos.net , so they were there , Thanks .

    Oops, I guess I sounded in my earlier post that I didn't think it was legit, not my intention I promise. The Iraqis have loads of weird and wonderful things they've used. I'd just meant that I didn't have any pics of any vests in my early Iraq period file ca 2004.
