....Lest we forget
I went down to the march today as I do every year, and all I can say is I was less than impressed with the people running the day, It was stinking hot and the poor old vets had to stand there for over an hour in the hot mid day sun for the service, there was no shade or seating for them but they had 3 ambulances on stand by which I thought was pathetic, I dunno how hard it is to organise a few chairs? But anyway apart from that though It was still a great day, I always get a bit of a lump in my throat when I see the look of pride on the faces of the old diggers marching proudly down the street surrounded by 1000s of people waving flags and cheering and clapping for them, and all the young kids there getting involved
