I have a set but the labels were sliced off, but the top edge of the trousers label is still here. It's green, like yours, but states "Iraq MOD contract". Maybe yours is actually Brit kit and not explicitly made for Iraq?

These were made for the Brits in the 80's, we supplied them to Iraq in the late 80's, yet when war was 'brewing'a new type of DDPM was contracted and a major rush out occured, SASS and Arktis supplied the kit if I remember correctly. I have one of the Shirts with a Brit Label, there was quite a few at Beltring last year from £5-£25.

Early 80's and a very silly ( from a military point of view ) Compton webb label ? I would guess trial issue, the size tags looks stamped with a typewriter rather than screen ink.

In the mid 1980s Courtaulds developed the pattern with the 4 colors .
They alone made the fabric and sold it .
Any one using the fabric originally bought it from their production.
