Re: Canadian Jacket Lightweight 1
By the look of the photos i thought you had the "khaki" uniform.
Here's a couple of my canadian "solid colors" uniforms.
Is funny that not many people care for those uniforms and they are getting really hard to find, specially the tan ones...
i have 2 versions of the desert solid, not sure if the colors are different, or if it's just faded.

Re: Canadian Jacket Lightweight 1
Hi drmatz.
No this one is khaki green, which is faded, plus my camera is crap which makes items look even more washed out
I would love some of the Desert /Tan versions to add to my small Canadian collection, and I can't understand their lack of interest, they are very functional pieces of kit!!!
Many thanks for showing your collection , which is very impressive indeed, I have a way to go I think.
Cheers
Gary

Re: Canadian Jacket Lightweight 1
hi gary,
i dont know why people are not interested in older canadian stuff. As you pointed they are really functional and well made.
I actually wear the tan trousers on a regular basis and they are one of my favorite uniforms... (to wear obviously)
The OD stuff shows up here in new york every once in a while for a very decent price. i haven't checked the store that sells it in ages, but they used to carrie lots of them. The winter jacket in my opinion is the best military winter jacket i ever tried on, i use here in the cold months that last from november thru may ahahaha
Anyway let me know if you need help sorcing some stuff
cheers
danilo
PS - thanks for your kind words

Re: Canadian Jacket Lightweight 1
I just scored one tan jacket... I work in a surplus in Quebec city and when I saw it, I knew it wasn't something common... Anyone got more info on these? Never saw them before.
EDIT: Made a new thread so I don't hijack your thread: https://iacmc.forumotion.com/t5298-coat-combat-lightweight-mkii-desert
PS: If you need flaps, let me know what you're looking for, we have a bunch... not looking to make any money, they're just a couple bucks each. Just to help you guys with your collections

Nice one Mate, great addition to your collection, a lot of the canadian kit has the D on the labels, it's just their disposal mark, but does not detract from how great this kit is

Is this an OG107 canadian lightweight jacket thread?
If so, here are three of my Canadian orphinks
Well, I guess I'll be back to edit this in 7 days and add the images.

Re: Canadian Jacket Lightweight 1
I Must say that CIC officers are military they are members of the canadian forces. Not to mention they are commissioned officers. one of my officers at cadets served 2 tours of duty in afghanistan and was wounded so he switched to CIC. So please have some respect for them. Not trying to be rude But.........................
