Re: ROK Backpack.
I'm very interested to know the logo from that 2nd photo. Seems to me it indicates the military uniform and gear manufacturer. Saw the same logo on the tag of recent ROK uniform, too.

Re: ROK Backpack.
I wonder about the logo, too. I hadn't even thought about it being a mfg. tag.
Either way, cool bag, Gulf. ROK stuff isn't easy to come by, if you're not in Korea.

Re: ROK Backpack.
To my knowledge not a makers tag/logo but the emblem of the ROK Marine Corps.

Re: ROK Backpack.
OK. I'd wondered only because they have another logo that it similar to the US EAG. I thought perhaps Navy, but their Navy logo comes up very different.
Funny thing is, I could just ask my in-laws, but... well, let's just say this collecting thing isn't necessarily something I want them knowing a whole lot about. I just need to learn Hangul.

Re: ROK Backpack.
The logo on the tag is neither ROK Marines nor ROK Navy...That's what I thought so at first. The logo appears on most or if not, all of the ROK Military issued. I have ROK Army uniforms and the latest is the desert field jacket and also, got this logo. I try to ask this from my Korean colleagues and see if I get the right information.

Re: ROK Backpack.
In that case it sounds similar in concept to the British Military Broad Arrow stamp that was used up to the 70s to stamp/mark every item of Military/Government property??

Re: ROK Backpack.
I was able to figure out the logo now....it's actually the emblem of the ROK Ministry of National Defense. =)
