    Hello!
My friend runs a surplus store. He got several of this Flak Jackets- This is the strangest thing I`ve senn. They look like a mixture of M-1952& M-69 and PASGT.
The cover is patterned after a M52- without collar- the nylon lining is the same as in M52 flak jacket. The difference is- cover is made in RIPSTOP WOODLAND confused Jacket is closed with velcro.
All ideas are welcomed! He got several of these in woodland and several in OG. Thanks for Your help!\
    cheers

That's a very interesting piece. It almost looks like it's a cobled together mitch-match of real items to make "something". Does the sewing on all the parts look industrial? The one thing I'm used to with everything I've seen American is that they always seem to have some form of collar/neck protection.

I agree. It may not be US at all ... I'm thinking perhaps Dutch. Reason I say this is that I have a similar type flak jacket where the ballistic filling looks like it was made from a cannibalised 'flak curtain' (what you might get lining some APCs). The cover was Dutch DPM but (from memory) not marked as such. I think the Dutch Marines did use US Woodlands uniforms for a short while before transitioning to DPM ..???

NL Mariniers still use US woodland to my knowledge.
