Ok i just bought this Desert MARPAT blouse at the local flea market from a guy who said he got it in a storage unit he bought... Along with it there was three brand new SEAL modified DCUs that i bought... So is this some special version (AOR1?!?) of MARPAT or something common or just a knockoff? Doesnt normal MARPAT have 4 colors? This says 6 colors. Also i was told that knockoff MARPAT does not contain the EGA emblem and this does... Im not the best at comparing uniforms so i apologize if im totally wrong lol. When i goggled the number it came up with chocolate chips lol. So im a little confused. Also in one of the shoulder pockets was a 2-sided IFF visibility marker (orange/pink). Its just like the one i bought the other day with a DCU... So im assuming its genuine.. Any info would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks much

Re: Odd Desert MARPAT Blouse...
I'd say it's commercial. Label is for a DBDU.

Or prior AOR1 worn SEAL shirt. Seals were known to have worn marpat before AOR1 came out. And I'd say it was a custom made shirt.

Never thought of that! But why have the weird tags on them showing a different uniform NSN? Could that NSN be a "general" stock number for a combat shirt and there can be different colors/camo based on that standard NSN?
And when you say custom, do you mean as in the SEAL or Team created it or custom from a company?

The custom shirts could have been either a company modification or a Team modification or an individual modification. Kan is correct, the SEAL's did use MARPAT before the AOR1's came about.

Re: Odd Desert MARPAT Blouse...
I dont know too much about the AOR1 stuff but i had a real Crye AOR1 field shirt and it looked pretty much the same, cut wise as this. Front pockets were angled, same collar, pen sleeve on wrist, etc. No zipper, its button.
If it was custom i would imagine it was something official considering it has the EGA's located in the pattern unlike the cheaper knock-off MARPATs ive seen.
Either way, anyone interested in taking it off my hands?!?
