    Evening all,

as some of you know, I display my collection at shows up and down this country, I am also a member of a re enactment group called Forces80 http://www.forces80.com/forces80%20home.htm

Recently myself and a couple of other guys decided to start our own group called Combat89, portraying the British Armed Forces in the 1980's (sometimes, we cant get to displays that F80 go to)

Anyway, we did our 2nd show the other weekend, and decided to take a few piccys "playing".

    What you all think?

I am the good looking MP!

Nice! The vehicles and checkpoint memorabilia backdrop it nicely. What is the tubular device hanging off the rear of the first man in the second pic? Mortar bomb carrier?

Thanks mate! yep, 81mm mortar bomb tube, need a 81mm mortar now ( F80 has one, a wooden one made to display in recruiting office windows)

I made the check point bunker, 6 pieces of 6'x2'6" corrugated plastic sheeting, and part of my dads market stall! The barrier gate is 2 pieces of plastic pipe, and the sigh is a original British M.O.D one, 1979 dated.

    Hi Tommo,

its a new informal group, and we only have done 2 shows, both very laid back. We got a small gathering at Sleap Airfield this sunday, again very informal, I will talk to my co-founder.

    Is this ok?
