Hi i just picked this lid up for $25 at a local thrift shop. I took a chance on it because from what i found online its a bit rarer than others. It appears to be missing comm parts such as what i assume is a boom mic. The earphones seem to be missing maybe some foam or something to keep the sound speakers/amps from coming loose. One is actually broken off the wires (my fault opps). Im sure it can be repaired.
Anyways, what do u guys think? Did i do okay at $25 and does anyone have a bit more info on it? Who used it (Army, Marines?), whats it made of (Kevlar?), Is it still in use, etc etc. thanks in advance!
