    Anyone got any ideas please on this?

    The patch at first glance looks like a modern merrowed edge type but is in fact a raw edged patch.

    Late 30's/early 40's era US Army enlisted jacket. Patch is for New York State Guard and buttons are New York state seal buttons. Nice jacket..

    Thanks Fins.

    Was puzzled by the buttons and lack of usual labels plus material is a lot thicker/coarser than on other Enlisted 4 pkt tunics i have seen in the past.
