Daguet Jacket 1991 with insignia/patches.

Just need a pair of decent priced trs now to match

Jacket looks to be unissued but came with the following patches-any ideas please?

But seriously, I have been looking high and low for any new to near new, or even well maintained Daguet jackets, Gulf war issued (like yours) or the later kind in sizes 96L or bigger for years now. They simply seem to keep eluding me.

ANY clue where to obtain new to near new Daguet gear in the larger sizes will be greatly appreciated - and possibly even paid for!

Only source i have is Ebay to be honest.

A fair bit(not sure of sizes) on Ebay.Fr but prices are high(as is shipping unfortunately).

I wish i had a cheap source to help you out but i have been trying myself to find a jacket at a reasonable price.

I am already scowering eBay.fr and though high prices and shipping does not bother me, all the small sizes and poor condition does...

But! It is soon a full, whole new year and a set will be mine - oh yes, it will be mine!

The 1990 issue jacket you have look slightly different from current issue ones, with a more horizontal pattern. But a great jacket and nice patch, though I don't know which regiment it represents!

Anybody please got any ideas on the insignia and patch?

The rank is for an seargent-major of the army (the stripes are used horizontal)

The other insignia is for the 6e Division Légère Blindée (6st Light Armoured Division) also normally known as "Division Daguet". Today the division is a brigade and the insignia is almost the same just light changes

So as both patches came with the jacket(neither attached,in one of the pockets) the they would seem to be authentic to the jacket?

Definitely authentic to this era, nice Jacket Rich,check out French eBay for the matching trousers, worth the postage prices, and delivery time actually pretty quick, in fact quicker than English sellers believe it or not!!!!

Too expensive for me Gary,will just hope im as lucky as you were with your bargain trs.

Trouble is im a bit obsessive,bought the jacket to go with the F1 helmets so if i go any further ill end up buying full Famas webbing etc to go with it which i really do not want to do
