Soviet assault vest BVD

The assault vest BVD "Boevaya Vykladka Desantnika".

It's big motçu in the early / mid 80's and distributed to VDV from Aghanistan in 1985, found its mark to Dagestan in 1999. This vest produced few copies rare and unusual to see in original and must be findable on the cheap ... It was used by the elite of the Red Army as the VDV and other spetsnatz aisne by certain units of the MVD.

How can you judge a color on a photo taken inside during the evening and with flash ?

Mine is an absolute original picked up by a U.S. service man in Yugoslavia from a Russian Engineer unit long before any repo's were being made , yours looks very similar to mine , and a close up of the stamp would be nice too, from what I see yours is not a reproduction , but I am not an expert.

Yours should also have the OTK acceptance stamp as well as the factory stamp.

It would be crazy to say that a piece picked up during the war in Yugoslavia is a copy .. Your assault vest is new as mine and picked up during the same period (the middle of my 90 years when there was no copy in this theme ..)

A couple other givaways to the repo's is the sewing on the fakes is much better looking then the originals , the originals were very poorly made and not very popular with the Russian troops.

BTW , the only difference I see between ours are the buttons used .

Shoru I am very surprised you question this vest even a little , all the repo's have grey trim and the only way it could look like an original is bleach and dye trick , that would ruin the stamps , even the stamps in the repo's are different , your a member of the Russian airsoft board , they have tons of pictures of real dark green vests like both of ours , see pic below .

My bad, I was irritated by the dark coloration of the first pictures.
