    Hallo Alexander, wie geht's?!

The first, large patch is as far as I can tell, is from the Sealand division of the Danish 'Sirius Patruljen' or Sirius Patrol unit - the northernmost Danish military patrol doing both territorial, hunting safety and wildlife patrols in northeast Greenland - all done by traditional Greenland dog sleight for thousands of miles. They are a hard gang.

The SFOR badge is from the Danish forces in the Balkans; Stabilization FORces, in Serbia and Herzegovina from 1996 to I think last year.

The best place to get contemporary NATO/OTAN desert badges is either German eBay or Danish trade site Den Blå Avis or www.dba.dk or possibly at www.QXL.dk

    Hope that helped!

    Bis später!

Thank you for responding quickly and well.

    I see you speak a little German:D

The badge belongs to the polar bear to MNC NE or is it an independent Danish unit.

can you tell me what to SCANIC and DANSKE DIVISION

    TAK alex

A "NIC" is usually a National Intelligence Cell and even though a patch with the 3 Scandinavian flags on is shown it can be for a Joint Scandinavian Intelligence Cell. I know one existed late in the SFOR mission, but I have never seen this patch before.

    Hallo Alex,
Sorry about the long wait, but I have been crazy-busy at work.

The Danske Division patch is from the large army regiment in southern Jutland, bordering up to Germany.
It is an old regiment that was re-established after WW2 and is located in the town of Haderslev.
The insignia is that of King Christian the 10., who was the monarch when the regiment was born. The knight is supposed to depict the duke Knud Lavard who lived year 1096-1131, the old regiment sprang from him.
The words are latin for 'Swift and sharp'.
    Hope this helps.
