Unknown Danish patch-Any ideas ???

Hi Guys.

I recently received this patch by saltefanden ( thanks again Ronny!!)

But I'm desperate to find out what unit it relates too, any ideas guy's?

Well I dug a little around (Google and Wikipedia are fantastic tools) and the patch looks to be from the Danish Combat Service Battalion LOGCOY, from the DANCON contingent in Basra in Iraq between 2003 and 2007. They operated out of Camp Danevang and were under Brittish command. I quickly searched for your badge at:

But did not immediately find it. Try and look for your self

Half way down, the patch is identified as Hold 2 (Team 2) deployed to Iraq.

Rare patch. Never seen a one before. Btw. I do have Danish items too in my vault (of horror). These are patches I especially like. Unusual to see Bats in Scandinavian insignias. No mentioning that the unit which uses those is not too well known. Yes, I've visited Copenhagen. Years ago. I found out that better use my jungle-english than trying to negotiate in swedish... uhh?
