That is a very neat piece . Assigned to a special forces unit , but not SF qualified ! , very cool !

The seller was also selling Mr. Taggart's ERDL M-65 which was also badged to US Army Thailand. I missed out on that and got this as consolation. I believe this jacket might have been manufactured 'somewhere in Asia', possibly Thailand or Korea maybe?
As for the SF tab, Taggart may have worn this before the SF tab was approved in 1983 - I can't remember whether or not his M-65 had the tab either ...
