    Well I managed to win the two liners at auction for $26 for the pair. One has a capac stamp and westinghouse stamp on the inside and the other has a westinghouse stamp. My guess is they were originally WWII M1 liners that were refurbished with new webbing, painted white and converted to civil defense helmets in the 50's.
    Does anyone know what the markings on the webbing means?? Also, any idea of value knowing that they are in pretty decent shape.
