Hmmm.... interesting. It doesn't look commercial per se. Could be a private purchase JSDF item. To me it looks like an officer's "briefcase" kind of bag. Cool whatever it is.

I think it might be commercial myself. Probably a school or tote bag of some sort. I've seen all sorts of stuff made from all sorts of things over in the Far East ... how about East German 'Rain Pattern' fashionable lady's slippers - both in normal AND reversed colorations!

I recently was informed that the Japanese don't have much in the way of commercial stuff in their camo. But of course if there are no official tags/marks then it is, almost always, commercial of some sort. I think the real question is if a member of the JSDF would use this thing or if their kid would
