Re: ITALIAN OLD CLOTHING "ROMA "
Loving the jacket ! EVERYBODY was wearing them when I was a student in the early 80's. My son saw a photos of me wearing one and asked me where it was as he wanted it ! Alas is went long ago. I ought to look out for one for him.
I imagine they are quite rare nowadays, no ?
Thanks for posting !

Re: ITALIAN OLD CLOTHING "ROMA "
Dear Dave,
Oh no, these jackets are still very much the rage fashion-wise, at least here in Denmark, so should you want one, again PM me, but they DO sell for around 60 GBP, as fashion items, mind you!

Re: ITALIAN OLD CLOTHING "ROMA "
Hi,in Italy they are still so many, the price is 15-20 euro. I bought this recently, my jacket of military service has been lost due to wear.
the jacket is used, pants are new.

Re: ITALIAN OLD CLOTHING "ROMA "
Thanks for posting these up Magic, I still have mine from 1985, wore it everywhere, loved it then and now.
I take it the official designation for these is Roma, I never knew what these were officially classed as this, so that's great after 27 years
Incidentally I have never seen the trousers on the surplus market back then ,and to this day

Re: ITALIAN OLD CLOTHING "ROMA "
There's a couple of jackets on ebay right now - £5 each.
Saw the trousers back in the day - zippered at the ankles - but not recently.

Dave I've seen these on ebay, practically giving them away for a fiver, I'm sure I paid a lot more for mine back in 1985
Now you have mentioned the zipped trousers maybe I did see them ,back in the day'

Re: ITALIAN OLD CLOTHING "ROMA "
Ok Guys, so I finally dug mine out from storage, this one has no label, and if I remember, I had an OD hood on it but that's long gone. I hasten to add I was a lot slimmer in 1984/85!!
And this another one from storage, which has got a very faint shiny label.

Re: ITALIAN OLD CLOTHING "ROMA "
Well guys it's been awhile, but I finally found a pair of the trousers to match the Jacket, and they fit which is a bonus!
Maybe I'm not looking in the right place, but there appears to be a lack of information regarding Italian OG uniforms,so my question is when were these specific uniforms introduced into service, as all the examples I own or have seen seem to be dated around the mid 80's????
