Re: arktisuk clothing
IN general Arktis clothes are good quality. Cloth is comparable to issued and construction is good. Their smocks usually come in 3 versions, outer cloth only, outer cloth with a windproof liner and outer cloth with a breathable liner. If you can find any, SASS from Lancaster are better. Both are quite expensive. Arktis sometimes has sales on their web site and it is worth looking out for these.

Re: arktisuk clothing
i was thinking of getting the arktis cadpat or a finnish m05 res jacket and attach a hood to it. i have a commerically made cadpat jacket made by dropzone tactical kind of big but i will probably keep it now

Re: arktisuk clothing
The best "M05" suits you can get are Russian made from Tactik 9. These are a hybrid of the SAS smock and the Russian Gorkha suits. Great design.

Re: arktisuk clothing
Yes and less expensive. I have original MO5 both issue and direct from Seyntex, Varusteleka M05, Tactik 9 M05 and many Arktis smocks(not M05 as they do not make one). The only thing that the Tactik 9 needed to be perfect was a front zip on the Smock so I added one.
