    Ah, machinegun barrel bags.

    The one on the left is a C9/M249 Minimi LMG barrel bag made in Canada. You tell this by the plastic and velcro closure on the back and the plastic buckle with canvas tab on the front. You can also see part of the white heat resistant lining poking out.

    The other two bags are canvas L7 GPMG barrel bags made in Belgium. These come as part of the standard weapon kit for the GPMG along with two spare barrels, a canvas sling, a tool set, and canvas tool roll. They are a much better bag than the C9 barrel bag and seem to be used quite often to carry the LMG barrels instead.

    No, but I was an MG gunner for a long time before moving on to being a LAV III gunner.

    Yeah me too i just moved on to LI comd always liked carrying the gun but was usually lead scout.
