Brown berets of the Finn BG

Brown berets are Finn special border jaegers. Attached two photos.

1. Notice the brown beret with "Bear"-insignia. Also, they have metal "Bear-wings" of their own ( not quite well visible ).

Sleeve insignias: Finn flag, Bear-head and a "sissi"-patch. Sissi means something like "querrilla".

The cross on chest they have is of AUK = "under-officer school".

Rank ( two hooks ) of the guys is "alikersantti" = "under-sergeant" ( petty officers / NCO ).

2. Looks like the second photo is taken during training period.

All that effort into camouflage only to be compromised by that shining national cockade insignia!! Great pics, though - thanks for sharing!

The photo is most likely of training, so they use more visible basic-cockade on boonies. Also camo-cockades are available. Notice also that they have no rank insignia etc. ( those are available in camo-colours / velcro backs too ).

What is the wooden (plywood?) tab attached to the stock of Rk?

The plywood tab shows user's name and usually also RK's serial number. The tab should be removed before leaving base, or garrison ( in my opinion ).
