Modifed 6 Color Desert Uniform-Desert Storm

The next set is of the uncommon 6-color desert jacket. I have seen only three sets of these during my years of collecting. These were made up by USSF personnel involved in desert operations. This one was probably made up for Desert Shield/Desert Storm. I have picture in one of my books showing a SF soldier wearing this jacket and a tan Tactical Load Bearving Vest. This is the only picture I've come across of the modified 6-color in actual use.

This jacket has had what appears to be a USAF distress beacon/strobe light removed above the right hand pocket.

TOO COOL!!!!!!!!!! Sorry if I overdid it, but just could resist it. I have soft spot for Chocolate Chip (Six Colors DCU). It is uncommon to see Chocolate Chip DCU being modified. It displays very nicely with ABA vest. Just like a reference photo of SF guys I gave you.

Odd modification of a 6 colour shirt. The extra sleeve pockets are reinforced with gray cordura material. Anyway I don't think it is original, surely a later (airsofter?) addition.

Although not Desert Storm-era modification, I linked this picture here, as it is a "choco chip" uniform, worn by Aghan Police. However I think it is better an ACU-style uniform made of choco chip pattern material.
